Former NFL star offensive tackle and seven-time Pro Bowl participant Lomas Brown joined ESPN in 2004 and appears on ESPN2’s weekday morning show, ESPN First Take (10 – noon ET) and ESPNEWS during the football season to discuss NFL news and issues. Brown played 11 seasons with the Detroit Lions (1985 – 1995) before joining the Arizona Cardinals (1996-98). He then spent one season with the Cleveland Browns (1999), two years with the Giants (2000-01) and finished his career with Super Bowl XXXVII Champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2002-03) who won the title that year. Since retiring, Brown has appeared on the NFL network, ESPN programming and hosted the Lions post game show " The 5th Quarter" and currently doing Sports Final Edition on WDIV-Channel 4. Brown born March 30, 1963, played college football for the University of Florida, earning a bachelor’s degree in parks and recreation. He was the sixth overall draft pick to the Detroit Lions in the 1985 NFL Draft. - 30 -
