Robert Flores joined ESPN in March 2005 as an ESPNEWS anchor. Since that time, Flores has occasionally anchored the 11 p.m. ET edition of ESPN’s SportsCenter. Prior to ESPN, Flores worked as a sports director for two television stations in his home state of Texas, KEYE-TV in Austin from June 2000-August 2004 and KWTX-TV in Waco from June 1994-June 2000. While at KWTX-TV, Flores also worked as the weekday news anchor. Flores began his broadcasting career at KNOW-TV in Monroe, La. from December 1992-June 1994 as the weekend news anchor. A native of Houston, Flores was graduated from the University of Houston with a bachelor’s degree in radio/television in 1992. - 30 - |
