Marc Stein began writing for ESPN.com in 2000 and joined the site full time in 2002 as senior NBA writer. He makes regular appearances on SportsCenter, NBA Shootaround, NBA Fastbreak, NBA Coast to Coast, ESPNEWS, ESPN2’s First Take and ESPN Radio.

Prior to joining ESPN, Stein covered the NBA for more than eight seasons during stints with the Dallas Morning News and Los Angeles Daily News. He also has reported for the Washington Post, Orange County Register and San Bernardino Sun.

Stein was graduated by Cal State Fullerton and resides in the Dallas area with his wife and two sons.
