ESPN’s Monday Night Football Campaign Kicks Off Friday

Two Spots to Focus on the Mundane Nature of Mondays:
“Alarm Clocks” featuring MC Hammer and “Paper Jams”

ESPN’s Monday Night Football promotional campaign will launch Friday, Aug. 15, when the network debuts two new spots.  Created by Wieden + Kennedy, New York, the theme of this year's promos will explore the dread and frustrations everyone feels for Mondays, and how Monday Night Football serves as the ‘light at the end of the tunnel’ for football fans everywhere.  The debut :45 launch spot, “Alarm Clocks,” will feature a Monday morning dream sequence starring musical performer MC Hammer, while the :30 spot, “Paper Jams,” highlights the inevitable nature of printer jams. These are the first of six spots to run throughout the season.
