Jonathan Coachman — better known as “The Coach”– began at ESPN in August 2008 and is an anchor for SportsCenter.

He also has hosted NBA TonightCollege Football Live, ESPN Friday Night Fights and the former ESPN2 program NASCAR Now, as well as the former ESPN Radio program Coach and Company

He previously spent nine years as a commentator for WWE company,  working with such talent as The Rock, Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Undertaker. He has done a regular professional wrestling segment on SportsCenter featuring appearances from some of WWE’s top stars and has done SportsCenter on the Road segments from WWE events.

Additionally, Coachman served as a sports anchor at the MSG Network in New York (2007-2008), KMBC-TV in Kansas City, Mo. (1999-2000), and KAKE-TV in Wichita, Kan. (1997-1999).

The McPherson College alum earned his Bachelor of Science degree in communications and was also awarded the basketball conference’s highest honor when he was named KCAC Player of the Year.
