Gregory Rossi

Vice President, Multimedia Sales

Gregory Rossi was recently promoted to vice president, multimedia sales, ESPN Customer Marketing and Sales.  In this role he manages the New York sales team to develop new and incremental business by selling multimedia programs across all ESPN-branded entities.

Previously Rossi served as senior director, multimedia sales managing television, print, online and radio media buying and sales efforts for ESPN. An 18-year veteran of the media and advertising industry, Rossi drove sales growth by creating customized business solutions for a variety of influential clients including AT&T, Subway, Taco Bell, Chrysler, Audi and BMW.

Utilizing his extensive experience and the versatility of ESPN’s powerful platforms, Rossi consulted with clients to build creative, results-oriented campaigns across television, print, online and radio assets. Most notably, his team led ESPN’s efforts to secure Discovery Financial as the title sponsor of the Orange Bowl in 2011.

Rossi first joined ESPN’s Customer Marketing and Sales team as an account executive in April of 2003. He was promoted to Senior Director of Multimedia Sales in April of 2008.

Prior to ESPN, Rossi worked as a media buyer with J. Walter Thompson, Young & Rubicam and then McCann Erikson, where he was named vice president in 2001. With McCann Erickson, Rossi supervised the Coca-Cola account, negotiating the company’s inaugural American Idol deal and an 11 year multi-media NCAA College Basketball marketing partnership.

While serving marquis brands like General Motors and Coca-Cola, Rossi drew on extensive agency relationships to help craft creative business solutions. His passion for sports and ability to negotiate robust deals led him to ESPN.

Rossi graduated from the University of Delaware in 1994.
