Jamie Howe joined ESPN as a motorsports reporter in 2011, working as a pit reporter for the American Le Mans Series and the NHRA Lucas Oil Sportsman Series in drag racing. In 2012, here duties were expanded to include pit reporting for the NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series.
Howe started as an intern in the broadcasting department of the American Le Mans Series (ALMS) in 2005, and the next year became a pit reporter on the sports car racing series’ radio coverage. Soon after, she moved into TV work as a pit reporter for sports car racing events on SPEED. In addition to ALMS telecasts, she worked on programs featuring the IMSA GT3 Challenge, the Toyota Pro Celebrity race in Long Beach and SPEED World Challenge. In 2010, she covered the prestigious 24 Hours of Le Mans for SPEED.
A competitive swimmer in her youth, Howe attended Georgia State University.
