Kelly Stouffer

College Football Analyst

Kelly Stouffer is an ESPN college football analyst, working primarily on ESPN and ABC Saturday games alongside play-by-play announcer Jason Benetti.

Stouffer played quarterback at Colorado State University, where he is the all-time leader in yards passing. He was a first round draft pick in 1987 and in 1988 set a rookie record with the Seattle Seahawks for most yards passing in a game. He went on to play for the Miami Dolphins and the Carolina Panthers before retiring in 1996.

After retiring from the NFL, Stouffer was the head coach at Rushville High School (Rushville, Neb.) – his alma mater – for three years.

Stouffer first began working with ESPN calling various games for ESPN Regional Television in 2003. In 2007 he became a color analyst for college football on Versus and NFL Europe on the NFL Network. In 2011 he worked as a studio analyst for the Mountain West Network, before joining ESPN as a college football analyst in 2012.

Stouffer graduated from Colorado State in 1987 with a degree in Agricultural Education and currently resides on a ranch in northwest Nebraska.
