ESPN NBA Analyst

Former NBA Finals MVP and 10-time All-Star Paul Pierce is an ESPN NBA analyst for the network’s NBA coverage on NBA Countdown and The Jump. He joined ESPN as a regular studio analyst in August ahead of the 2017-18 NBA season. Previously, he joined ESPN’s and ABC’s NBA Countdown as a guest analyst during the 2017 and 2016 NBA Finals. Additionally, he served as a guest analyst on ESPN’s The Jump throughout the 2016-17 NBA playoffs and off-season.

Drafted by the Boston Celtics with the 10th overall pick of the 1998 NBA Draft, Pierce spent 15 years as a Celtics in his 19-year NBA career. He holds the Celtics’ all-time leader in 3-point field goals (1,823), free throws (6,434), and steals (1,583). He’s second only to John Havlicek in scoring with 24,021 career points.

Pierce, also known as “The Truth,” played for the L.A. Clippers (2015-17), Washington Wizards (2014-15) and Brooklyn Nets (2013-14) as well.
