Carrie Brzezinski is vice president of marketing solutions, a group within ESPN focused on connecting brands with fans by developing creative and innovative multiplatform opportunities geared specifically to ESPN’s audience. A 14-year media industry veteran, Brzezinski has been with the company for six years, driving the development of many successful marketing programs.

In her role, Brzezinski leads all sales marketing for ESPN’s internal creative agency, CreativeWorks, while managing the sales marketing teams for ESPN The Magazine, espnW, ESPN news and information shows as well as SportsCenter.

Brzezinski has spent her entire career in the media industry, generating effective marketing programs for various brands across all platforms. At ESPN, she has developed new assets, content platforms and intellectual property to integrate client messages with the ESPN brand while leading a team of more than 30 employees.

In 2013, ESPN received the award for Social Media Excellence from Cynopsis for the inaugural year of the Fan Hall of Fame, an initiative led by Brzezinski’s team. Her team’s work on ESPN’s co-branded Star Wars/ESPN Fantasy Football campaign in 2012 earned them several accolades, including a Bronze Award for Sports Branding Campaign from PromaxBDA, Sports Winner/Sports Branding Campaign from Cynopsis and a Silver Award from Creativity International.

Prior to ESPN, Brzezinski spent three years at Maxim managing the integrated marketing team in order to strategize and execute Maxim and Blender customized programs across several multiplatform brands, including Maxim and Maxim.com, Blender Magazine and the Moving Pictures DPI television division. Additionally, Brzezinski was responsible for developing new sponsorship programs to sell in multiple advertisers as well as to increase sales in target categories.

Previous positions Brzezinski held include senior marketing manager at Home Magazine and Metropolitan Home Magazine, sales and marketing coordinator at USA Today and junior account manager at DoubleClick Network.

A native of Michigan, Brzezinski holds a bachelor’s degree in Literature, Science and the Arts from the University of Michigan, where she majored in organizational studies with a focus in advertising and marketing.
