After two weekends of play, the field of teams for the NCAA Division I Women’s Lacrosse Championship semifinals is set. Defending champion and top-seeded Maryland, No. 3 seed North Carolina, No. 4 seed Syracuse and Penn State will face off beginning Friday, May 27, at 5 p.m. from Talen Energy Stadium in Chester, Pa.
ESPN to televise all Eight NCAA Softball Super Regionals
After an exciting weekend in college lacrosse during first-round play, ESPN’s exclusive coverage of the NCAA Division I Men’s Lacrosse Championship continues with the quarterfinals on Saturday, May 21 (ESPNU), and Sunday, May 22 (ESPN2/ESPNU).
ESPN will provide exclusive coverage of the NCAA Division I Men’s Lacrosse Championship Presented by Northwestern Mutual, beginning with the preliminary round on Wednesday, May 11, from the campus of Quinnipiac in Hamden, Conn., on ESPN3, followed by first-round action on Saturday, May 14, and Sunday May 15, at eight campus sites across the country.
College Lacrosse: Weekend of Conference Championships Concludes with NCAA Men’s Lacrosse Selection Special
ESPN2, ESPNU and ESPN3 will provide coverage of several conference lacrosse championships this week, leading to the NCAA Men’s Lacrosse Selection Special on Sunday.
The semifinals of the ACC Men’s Lacrosse Championship begin Friday, April 29, and will feature matchups between North Carolina and No. 7 Syracuse at 6 p.m., followed by Notre Dame facing No. 14 Duke at 8:30 p.m.
College Lacrosse: NCAA Men’s Lacrosse Sport Committee Top-10 Rankings to be Announced Saturday on ESPNU
ESPNU will reveal for the first time the NCAA Men’s Lacrosse Sport Committee’s top-10 rankings this Saturday, April 23, early in the second quarter of the noon matchup between top-ranked Notre Dame at No. 13 North Carolina. This will be the first of two announcements from the Committee, the second being revealed prior to the conclusion of game one of the ACC Men’s Lacrosse Championship semifinals on Friday, April 29 at 6 p.m. Rankings will reflect games played through April 17 and April 24, respectively.
ESPN’s lacrosse lineup Saturday, April 23, features four matchups, highlighted by the men of Notre Dame, ranked No. 1 for the third consecutive week, facing No. 13 North Carolina at noon on ESPNU.
College Lacrosse: Men’s and Women’s Doubleheader between North Carolina and Syracuse Slated for Saturday
The men’s and women’s North Carolina lacrosse teams will both travel to Syracuse this weekend to take on the Orange. The Saturday doubleheader will begin with No.4 Syracuse women taking on No. 3 North Carolina at noon, followed by No. 9 Syracuse facing No. 11 North Carolina at 4 p.m. Both games will be carried on ESPN3.
