This summer, ESPN will present exclusive programming and comprehensive coverage from EURO 2016 across digital platforms worldwide. This multiplatform approach will share resources and complement coverage between WatchESPN, ESPN3, ESPNFC.com, ESPNDeportes.com and ESPN.com editions in the U.S., UK, India and Australia. Aspects of ESPN’s coverage, analysis and video will also appear on the recently launched ESPN section of QQ Sports in China.

TheUndefeated.com will combine innovative long-form and short-form storytelling, original reporting and provocative commentary to enlighten and entertain African Americans, as well as sports fans seeking a deeper understanding of black athletes, culture and related issues. It launched with a commentary “We Are The Undefeated” by editor-in-chief Kevin Merida – a declaration of its manifesto.
ESPN has promoted Nate Ravitz to Vice President of Audience Development, a new role in which Ravitz will oversee programming of digital content across ESPN.com and the ESPN App, in addition to his existing responsibilities leading ESPN-branded social media content, mobile push notifications and digital video.
ESPN3 will present 18 WNBA regular-season games live during the historic 20th season of the league, beginning with four games on Opening Weekend on Saturday, May 14 – Dallas Wings at Indiana Fever (6 p.m. ET); New York Liberty at Washington Mystics (7 p.m.); Connecticut Sun at Chicago Sky (8 p.m.); and Atlanta Dream at San Antonio Stars (8 p.m.).
ESPN2 will recap the Invictus Games tonight at 7 p.m. ET hosted by Chris Fowler and Marysol Castro. The prime-time show will highlight today’s key events: cycling, archery and powerlifting. Also in tonight’s coverage is the “Up Close and Personal” feature on Paul Warren and Israel Del Toro. ESPN2’s coverage will also be available live via WatchESPN across computers, smartphones, tablets, and connected devices via an affiliated video provider.
Tune in Tuesday, May 10, starting at 8 a.m. on ESPN3 for coverage on the track & field and sitting volleyball finals. The nightly recap show will air at 7 p.m. on ESPN.

ESPN’s five-day exclusive coverage of the Invictus Games Orlando 2016 kicks off on ESPN2 on Sunday, May 8, at 8 p.m. ET and continues until Thursday, May 12. The Invictus Games, held at the ESPN Wide World of Sports at Walt Disney World in Orlando, will feature 10 adaptive-style sports bringing together more than 500 military competitors who are wounded, ill and injured from 14 countries around the world. In addition to ESPN2’s nightly prime-time program and ESPN3’s daily event broadcasts, ESPN will provide coverage across a variety of platforms.

Familiar faces to ESPN viewers from a wide range of sports will team with expert analysts – many with Olympic or Paralympic experience – for ESPN3’s 40-plus hours of coverage of the Invictus Games Orlando 2016. The Games will take place Sunday, May 8, through Thursday, May 12, at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World. Several ESPN3 analysts have participated in Invictus Games events, led by Ade Adepitan, a wheelchair basketball player who lost a leg to polio, Duncan Campbell, inventor of wheelchair rugby, Rohan Murphy, a powerlifter who lost his legs at birth, and Matt Stutzman, an archer born without arms.

The Undefeated, ESPN’s new multimedia platform that will explore the intersections of sports, race and culture, will launch on May 17. Kevin Merida, Senior Vice President and Editor-in-Chief of the site, made the announcement today at a company employee forum.
