X Games is launching a bi-annual contest, World of X Games Presents ZOOM, celebrating the best in action sports photography. Each month, XGames.com will select 10 of the best photos submitted by photographers in the BMX, skateboard, motocross, freeski, snowboard, surf and mountain bike worlds, and display them in a curated digital ZOOM gallery online.
The world’s premier action sports competition returns to Aspen Snowmass January 26 – 29, inviting the top Ski, Snowboard and Snowmobile athletes to compete in 18 different disciplines over four days of sports, music and festival offerings. X Games Aspen will also feature musical performances – in chronological order – by Bassnectar, Anderson .Paak & The Free Nationals, The Chainsmokers and G-Eazy. ESPN is actively engaged with and seeking interested cities in the United States to host the X Games summer event for two consecutive years in 2019 and 2020, showcasing the world’s best action sports athletes, internationally renowned musical acts and one of the most complete youth culture festival experiences. X Games has moved locations regularly throughout its history to celebrate and infuse the global elements of action sports and youth culture from each city. ESPN’s video-only competition series continues with the second edition of Real Moto Presented by Hot Pockets, airing August 20 on ABC. Real Moto will feature never-before-seen video parts from six of the world’s top Freestyle Motocross riders. All six video parts drop today on XGames.com/RealMoto.
The World of X Games series on ABC will feature weekly action sports content throughout the month of August, including live event coverage of the KRob Flips Providence event on August 13. The August lineup will also feature a World Surf League stop, FMX rider Jackson Strong’s Headstrong 2 and the second edition of ESPN’s video-only competition, Real Moto.
