Celebrating the X Games debut in Minnesota, X Games will bring premiere racing action to fans at Mall of America on Thursday, July 13, to kick off the inaugural event in front of one of the top tourist destinations in the country.
Like all X Games events, X Games Norway will reflect the rich musical, art and cultural elements of the country of Norway with some of its most popular artists – Seeb, Julie Bergan, Kaveh, Mugisho and Dunderbeist. In addition to the live performances, X Games Norway will incorporate Seeb’s newest single, “Under Your Skin,” as the event theme song. For the first-time in X Games history, all finals and concerts on Saturday will be aired live as part of the global telecasts. All music performances on Saturday will be streamed live to fans in the U.S. via ESPN3 and to fans in Europe via ESPN Player.
The March World of X Games lineup will take fans back to X Games Aspen before journeying to Hafjell for X Games Norway 2017. By re-airing the popular Best of Aspen show highlighting the best of the sports, music and festival experience from X Games Aspen 2017, fans can relieve every mind-blowing moment just in time to get excited for X Games Norway 2017. Finishing up the month is Real Snow 2017, an all-video competition highlighting the world’s best urban snowboard athletes.
X Games fans in the United States can watch 13.5 hours of live competition coverage from X Games Norway beginning Wednesday, March 8 on ESPN3. Additionally, four hours of event recap coverage will air on ABC as part of the World of X Games series, beginning Saturday, March 11. Fans can also follow the latest coverage across ESPN digital platforms, including XGames.com and X Games pages across Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat and more.
For fans who couldn’t get enough of the live coverage, the February World of X Games focuses on recapping the biggest and best moments of X Games Aspen 2017. With a four hour anthology show highlighting every competition for the four day event and two Best of Aspen shows featuring the most memorable moments, X Games fans can relive every mind-blowing moment. The February content lineup is rounded out with the first edition of the Real Series video competitions for 2017, Real Ski.
