Soccer on ESPN Platforms: Barclays Premier League Championship on the Line; MLS Eastern Conference Rivalry

PRINT VERSIONFILED IN: Soccer

ESPN platforms – ESPN2, ESPN3 and ESPN Deportes – will carry 12 live matches this weekend highlighted by a live soccer doubleheader Sunday: Premier League’s Manchester City vs. Queens Park Rangers (9:30 a.m. ET – kick at 9:55 a.m.), followed immediately with a Major League Soccer Eastern Conference rivalry match between Philadelphia Union vs. New York Red Bulls (12:15 p.m.), both on ESPN2 and ESPN3.

The Manchester City vs. Queens Park Rangers match could decide the Premier League championship on the last matchday of the season.  With a win at home in Etihad Stadium, Manchester City will capture its third top-flight league title in English football and its first since 1968.  A QPR victory would open the door to a Manchester United title, if the Red Devils win Sunday.
