GameDay in Tennessee for First Time Since 2004

ESPN’s College GameDay Built by The Home Depot will originate from the campus of the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, Tenn., on Saturday, Sept. 15. The Volunteers (2-0) welcome No. 24 Florida (2-0) to Neyland Stadium in the Vols’ SEC opener (6 p.m., ESPN, ESPN Radio, WatchESPN). College GameDay on ESPN Radio will also originate from Knoxville. The exact location of the College GameDay sets will be announced at a later date.

This will mark the eighth overall visit to Knoxville for the popular college football pregame show, now in its 26th season. GameDay was last there on October 2, 2004. The inaugural visit was Sept. 9, 1995 and the Vols are 2-5 College GameDay’s appearances.

The show will air live at 9 a.m. on ESPNU and 10 a.m. on ESPN with host Chris Fowler, analysts Lee Corso, Kirk Herbstreit, Desmond Howard and David Pollack, and host/reporter Samantha Steele.
