EDM Phenom Zedd and NACH also to Perform at Inaugural European X Games Event on May 18
X Games Barcelona 2013 in May will include an array of top musical performers at X Games Music, the new special concert series accompanying the X Games global expansion events, featuring multi-platinum recording artist and entrepreneur 50 Cent. He will be joined on Saturday, May 18 at 9 p.m. CET by EDM producer/DJ/songwriter Zedd and NACH, one of Spain’s best-known rappers.
While performances from top artists have often been part of the X Games experience, 2013 marked the debut of X Games Music showcasing world-class musicians and highlighting the artistic and cultural elements inherent in the action sports lifestyle and each of the X host cities.
“I’m very excited to return to the X Games this year,” said 50 Cent. “I’m looking forward to performing and experiencing the competitive action of the games.”
X Games Music performances will take place at the Poble Espanyol in Barcelona and be streamed live to XGames.com as follows:

NACH: Regarded as one of the most influential artists in Spain, hip hop artist NACH will open the performance at Poble Espanyol on Saturday night of X Games Barcelona 2013. Nominated for a Goya Award in 2012 for Best Original Song, NACH is coming off a 2012 Latin American tour and currently working on his seventh album to be released in November.

50 Cent: Grammy-winning, international hip hop and entertainment superstar, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson will return to the X Games, making his second appearance after performing in 2010 at Winter X Games Aspen. With over 32 million albums sold worldwide, Billboard magazine ranked him as the most successful Hot 100 Artist of the 2000s. Now an actor, entrepreneur, producer and philanthropist, 50 Cent is currently working on his fifth album to be released to be released later this year.

Zedd: Zedd has separated himself in a crowded field by drawing from a diverse musical training and background spanning from classical to post-hardcore/metal to electro house in order to make meticulously detailed and carefully produced compositions. He first made waves with a series of well-received remixes of tracks by Skrillex, The Black Eyed Peas, Fatboy Slim, and Lady Gaga. He also produced the track “Beauty and a Beat” with Max Martin for Justin Bieber’s third album. Zedd’s track “Spectrum” was named Billboard’s #1 Dance track of 2012. His new single “Clarity” is the title track off his chart topping debut album which reached #1 on the iTunes Dance Chart and was the biggest first week for a dance artist’s album in the last 10 years.
The day of the concert, tickets will be available for purchase at The Box Office at Poble Espanyol, if tickets remain.
