ESPN Radio’s 30-Game Regular-Season College Football Schedule

  • Extensive Bowl Lineup includes New Playoff, Championship

ESPN Radio’s 15th season of college football action will begin with the first four of 30 regular-season games the opening weekend August 28-30 and will continue every Saturday and select Thursday nights, culminating with the Pac-12 and ACC Championships in December.  In addition, ESPN Radio will again have an extensive lineup of bowl game coverage, including the new College Football Playoff and Championship in January.  All regular-season and championship games will be available on ESPN Radio, ESPNRadio.com and ESPN Radio mobile app.

The slate includes 18 of the teams ranked in an early ESPN.com preseason top 25 poll for 2014.  From the Top 10 there are three appearances each by No. 2 Alabama and No. 6 Auburn, and two appearances each by No. 1 and defending national champion Florida State and No. 9 UCLA.

The action kicks off with Boise State at Mississippi on Thursday, Aug. 28, followed by three games Saturday, Aug. 30 – West Virginia vs. Alabama in Atlanta; Oklahoma State vs. Florida State in Arlington, Texas; and Fresno State at USC.  The season will conclude with three games on Thanksgiving Weekend – Stanford at UCLA on Friday, Nov. 28, plus Michigan at Ohio State and Notre Dame at USC in a doubleheader Saturday, Nov. 29 – the Pac-12 title game on Friday, Dec. 5, and the ACC Championship on Saturday, Dec. 6.

Bill Rosinski, David Norrie and Joe Schad return as the main ESPN Radio commentator team.

The sites for College GameDay on ESPN Radio and the post-season bowl schedule will be announced at a later date.
