Real Street to Air May 28 on ABC

Following Real Ski and Real Snow, the third installment in the Real Series schedule for 2017 will switch focus to summer sports with the eight Real Street video parts dropping today, May 17 at 12 p.m. ET, on XGames.com/RealStreet. Fans will have a chance to view and vote on their favorite video, with the fan favorite winning an additional cash prize.  The full World of X Games episode will air May 28 on ABC, which will feature all eight video parts, behind-the-scenes footage, athlete interviews and selection of the medalists. The videos will be judged by a panel of industry experts and a first place cash prize will be awarded to the winner, as well as gold, silver and bronze medals for the top three athletes and their filmers.

A forum for the world’s best riders and filmers to create premium video content, the Real Series brings together the worlds of competitive action sports and core video parts. Originally launching with the Real Street competition in the summer of 2010, the Real Series has now grown to include six video competitions each year – adding Snowboard, Ski, BMX, Moto and Wakeboard disciplines into the lineup – due its popularity within the action sports community.

The schedule is subject to change. More details will be available on XGames.com for fans or on www.ESPNmediazone.com for members of the media. Follow @XGames on Twitter and join the conversation using #RealStreet.
