WSL Surfing Stop #9 Quiksilver Pro France
Airs: 11/5 at 2 p.m. ET / 1 p.m. PT on ABC
Gabriel Medina defeated Sebastian Zietz in the Final of the Quiksilver Pro France at La Gravière, the culmination of a pulsating day of professional surfing in southwest France. With a packed weekend crowd lining the shore in Hossegor and golden evening light shining on running righthand walls, the 2014 World Champion made relatively short work of the Hawaiian veteran. It is Medina’s third win at this event, and he rocketed himself from the relatively unfamiliar depths of No. 8 up to No. 3 on the Jeep Leaderboard, still with a mathematical shot at the 2017 World Title.

MasterCraft Throwdown 2017
Airs: 11/12 at 4 p.m. ET / 3 p.m. PT on ABC
The MasterCraft Throwdown pro invitational wakeboard competition returns on November 12 with rowdy, double up wakeboard action from the best wakeboard athletes in the business, on World of X. The double up competition format makes every run an all-in, big air affair and the event again saw huge tricks and plenty of hijinks in Orlando from competitors including Rusty Malinoski, Steel Lafferty, Bob Soven, JD Webb, Danny Harf, Massi Piffaretti, Shota Tezuka and Harley Clifford. The pro invitational follows an expanded summer-long MasterCraft Throwdown U.S. event tour, where top wakeboard athletes tore up calm waters and engaged with fans.

FREESURFER, Part 2
Airs: 11/12 at 4:30 p.m. ET / 3:30 p.m. PT on ABC
FREESURFER focuses on the soul of surfing, featuring the best freesurf sessions with top pro surfers from around the world. Instead of focusing on contests, scores and judges, FREESURFER gives an inside look at pure surfing. The episode provides a unique look into surf trips around the globe only the top surfers in the world have experienced.

WSL Surfing Stop #10 MEO Rip Curl Pro Portugal
Airs: 11/19 at 12 p.m. ET / 1 p.m. PT on ABC
Gabriel Medina defeated Julian Wilson in the Final of the MEO Rip Curl Pro Portugal at Supertubos, claiming back-to-back wins in Europe and putting a rocket under his 2017 World Title chances. Having shot from No. 7 on the Jeep Leaderboard coming into the Europe to No. 2 – and within 3,100 points of Jeep Leader John John Florence – surf fans can now relish the prospect of a four-way men’s World Title showdown at the Billabong Pipe Masters, with Medina as the favorite from among the chasing pack that includes Wilson and Jordy Smith.

Peace Park 6
Airs: 11/26 at 3 p.m. ET / 2 p.m. PT on ABC
Peace Park creator Danny Davis gives fans an inside look at the making of the sixth edition of Peace Park. Each year, Davis hosts a group of the world’s most creative snowboarders shredding the most unique features of the season at Grand Targhee resort. This year’s riders include Red Gerard, Scotty James, Brock Crouch, Gabe Ferguson and more. Peace Park offers riders an event that celebrates the soul of snowboarding by giving them an opportunity to ride a combination of features that don’t exist anywhere else without the pressure of a competitive environment.

Dropping Next – Ben Ferguson (Re-Air)
Airs: 11/26 at 3:30 p.m. ET / 2:30 p.m. PT on ABC
Hailed as one of the next big things in snowboarding, halfpipe rider Ben Ferguson has earned the respect of snowboard judges and peers alike. But the reality of competing to become a top halfpipe threat on the U.S. Team, while at the same time following his passion chasing storms and riding powder, has become a bigger challenge than he expected. With the Olympics in Korea closing in, and all eyes on Ben to be at the forefront this season, Dropping Next is a story about snowboarding and what it really means to one individual.
