ESPN Front Row – Revisited: Sloan brings perfectionist’s poise to SEC Network’s gymnastics coverage

  • More than 40 hours of action on SEC Network, ESPN2, ESPNU and SEC Network +
  • “Friday Night Heights” series returns with eight consecutive weeks of action
  • 18 meets to air live on SEC Network for second straight season
  • SEC Network to air non-conference showdown between Oklahoma and Florida

After unprecedented live coverage in 2017, SEC Network continues to provide premier access to Southeastern Conference gymnastics with more than 40 hours of action airing across ESPN networks in 2018. SEC Network will televise 18 live meets in the 2018 season, and SEC Network’s “Friday Night Heights” gymnastics series continues with eight consecutive weeks of elite matchups from around the conference.

Defending SEC champion LSU bookends regular season conference competition on SEC Network; the Tigers begin their title defense with a Friday, Jan. 5 matchup against the visiting Arkansas Razorbacks and close out the regular season on Sunday, March 4, as they host the Auburn Tigers.

In addition to the eight weeks of “Friday Night Heights” doubleheaders throughout January and February, gymnastics fans will be treated to a tripleheader on Friday, Jan. 26. SEC Network will provide coverage of one of the most anticipated non-conference showdowns of the season, as two-time reigning NCAA champion Oklahoma, takes on three-time NCAA champion Florida. The meet will stream live on SEC Network + at 7 p.m. ET before the tape-delayed telecast on SEC Network at 10 p.m.

ESPN2 and SEC Network close out the season with the 2018 SEC Gymnastics Championship on Saturday, March 24. The championship will be carried live for the third consecutive year with coverage of the first session on SEC Network at 3 p.m. and flipping to ESPN2 for the second session at 7 p.m.
