ESPN Launches Traveling “Locker Room” Activation to find “Who’s In?” for the College Football Playoff

Fans can win a Grand Prize Experience to a Playoff Semifinal game

ESPN has created an interactive fan experience to celebrate college football fandom. The College Football Playoff Locker Room will travel to three cities in the next few weeks and give fans an opportunity to get in on the college football action and win prizes, including a chance to go to one of the College Football Playoff semifinal games.

Beginning Friday, Dec. 8, the College Football Playoff Locker Room will travel to Los Angeles, Chicago and New York. Fans will be encouraged to snap their best “game face” on an interactive photo booth, complete with college football themed-filters and stickers, to personalize their look. Fans who visit the Locker and take a photo will be rewarded with a small prize instantly on site and will be entered for the grand prize.

“Our goal was to create an authentic and differentiated experience, igniting a two way conversation between the ESPN College Football Playoff brand and fans, while maximizing our media investment,” said Pallav Tamaskar, director of ESPN sports marketing. “The CFP on ESPN is a big event platform, and we want to inspire engagement with both the die-hard, as well as more casual fans, by bringing the exciting and unpredictable spirit of the Playoff to them.”

College football fans around the country are also encouraged to share their own photo using the hashtag #WhosInSweepstakes on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram, automatically entering them for a chance to win the grand prize of an all-expense paid trip (total of six packages) to one of the College Football Playoff semifinal games (either the Rose Bowl presented by Northwestern Mutual or the Allstate Sugar Bowl) on Jan. 1, 2018, including hotel, air and ground transportation.
