Last week marked the beginning of a nationwide rollout of the ESPN App on AT&T DIRECTV set top boxes, allowing subscribers to seamlessly switch between all ESPN live and on-demand video to their TVs through a hybrid interface. It is the first time ESPN has made this app-like service combining both linear and streaming content available through a traditional distributor on set top boxes.

Due to Hurricane Matthew, games on ESPN networks that have been postponed or canceled have been replaced by a variety of college-themed programming. Notably, special live editions of SEC Green Room will air on SEC Network at noon ET and 7:30 p.m. with discussion of games airing on other ESPN networks. Please note the confirmed program changes below.
ESPN announces that the Holiday Inn Express® brand has come onboard as the newest official sponsor of the Southeastern Conference and SEC Network. Holiday Inn Express, the official hotel of the SEC, will also have category exclusivity on site at all SEC Championship events throughout the year, use of SEC and SEC Network marks and logos, as well as access to on site hospitality and marketing opportunities.

The next installment in ESPN Films’ SEC Storied series, “Mighty Ruthie presented by Cooper Tire,” premieres on Sunday, May 22, at 9 p.m. ET on SEC Network. The film looks at gold medalist Ruthie Bolton, former Auburn basketball player and a victim of domestic violence who has become an advocate for women.

ESPN networks extensive 2015-16 men’s basketball season coverage is complimented with the addition of six new analysts and four new play-by-play commentators. The new crew join an established line-up of the nation’s leading experts covering approximately 1,200 exclusive games across ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, ESPNEWS, SEC Network and Longhorn Network.
