ESPN’s Super Bowl week coverage continues from the Jax Brewery parking lot (600 Decatur Street, New Orleans) with more than 35 commentators, including a team of analysts with 18 Super Bowl rings in 28 appearances. This group of Super Bowl champions — Tedy Bruschi, Trent Dilfer, Mike Ditka, Jon Gruden, Keyshawn Johnson, Jerry Rice, Mark Schlereth and Steve Young — will provide an inside look at what it’s like to coach and play in a Super Bowl during Friday’s SportsCenter Special (3-4 p.m. ET, ESPN), hosted by Monday Night Football play-by-play voice Mike Tirico.

ESPN analyst Tim Hasselbeck will guest host on ABC’s morning talk and entertainment program The View on Friday, Feb. 1 (10 a.m. in most markets) alongside his wife, Elisabeth, and Sherri Shepherd and her husband, Sal. In January 2010, the Hasselbecks participated in an on-air job swap with Tim on The View and Elisabeth occupying her husband’s analyst role on NFL Live.
Hasselbeck, on his return appearance to the show: “It’s always an honor to guest co-host The View. I’ll have an opportunity to talk some football as we gear up for the Super Bowl. It’s impossible to predict what to expect, but I can tell you that this time around there is going to be a fierce competition between Elisabeth and myself and Sherri and Sal.”
Super Bowl XLVII’s Kaepernick and Rice in College Flashbacks on ESPNU

ESPNU will re-air the most memorable college football action for two of the Super Bowl XLVII teams’ best players: Ray Rice of the Baltimore Ravens and Colin Kaepernick of the San Francisco 49ers. On Saturday, Feb. 2, the 2008 International Bowl will showcase Rice, the former Rutgers running back, as he rushed for 280 yards and four touchdowns. Immediately following, ESPNU will air the 2007 matchup between Rutgers and Army, when Rice ran for 243 yards and scored twice, setting a new school record.
Kaepernick will be seen from his time as quarterback at Nevada on Saturday and Sunday with the 2011 Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl and the Wolf Pack’s 2010 overtime game against Boise State.

ESPN’s two star-studded doubleheaders this week feature the defending NBA Champion Miami Heat and the Los Angeles Lakers. On Friday, the Indiana Pacers and All-Star Paul George host the Heat and All-Star LeBron James at 7 p.m. with Mark Jones and Jon Barry providing commentary. In the nightcap, the Lakers and All-Star Kobe Bryant take on the Minnesota Timberwolves and Ricky Rubio at 9:30 p.m. Terry Gannon will handle the call with analyst Chris Mullin and reporter Heather Cox.
Wednesday’s doubleheader matches the Heat against the Brooklyn Nets at 8 p.m. and the Lakers against the Suns in Steve Nash’s Phoenix homecoming at 10:30 p.m. KIA NBA Countdown precedes the doubleheader at 7:30 p.m. on site from Super Bowl XLVII.

The matchups for the 11th annual Ramada Worldwide BracketBusters, a two-day men’s college basketball event pitting potential NCAA Championship hopefuls against each other Friday-Saturday, Feb. 22-23, will be announced on the Ramada Worldwide BracketBusters Selection Show on Monday, Feb. 4, at 6:30 p.m. on ESPNU.
The Ramada BracketBusters event of 13 contests across ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU and ESPN3 will be selected from a pool of 122 teams from 15 conferences, including nationally-ranked contenders – No. 15 Wichita State and No. 21 Creighton.

For the seventh consecutive year, ESPN Deportes will offer extensive coverage of the Caribbean World Series across television, radio, broadband and online. ESPN Deportes and ESPN Deportes+ will carry all games live starting Friday, Feb. 1, at 5 p.m. with Venezuela vs. Dominican Republic.
The complete Series will be heard live on ESPN Deportes Radio Nueva York 1050 AM. Local morning and afternoon shows Firma ESPN (7-10 a.m.) and Zona ESPN NY (2-5 p.m.) will also provide the latest news and analysis around the event. In addition, ESPN Deportes Dallas 1540 AM will broadcast all the games featuring Mexico as well as the final.
ESPN Deportes baseball experts will cover the event from Hermosillo, Mexico, throughout the seven-day series including Ernesto Jerez, known for his signature voice for Spanish-language baseball and unmistakable chant “No, no, no, no, no digale no a esa pelota” along with baseball experts Jorge Eduardo Sanchez, Guillermo Celis, Luis Alfredo Alvarez, Carolina Padron and Eitan Benezra.

Sports stars and celebrities join Los Angeles Clippers guard Chris Paul for the fifth annual Chris Paul PBA League All-Stars Tournament — which benefits Paul’s CP3 Charities — on Sunday Feb. 3, at 4 p.m. on ESPN. The tournament – from Lucky Strike LA LIVE in Los Angeles – features a doubles-style competition format and a best-ball competition.
