The Future of the BCS Live Coverage on ESPNU

On June 13 and June 20, the Bowl Championship Series (BCS) and the NCAA Division I Conference Commissioners Association will meet in Chicago to discuss a future format change in the postseason of college football. ESPNU will air two College Football Live specials surrounding developing news on the potential groundbreaking college football shift. 

On Wednesday, June 13, Dari Nowkhah will host the College Football Live Special: The Future of the BCS at 5 p.m, with analyst Jesse Palmer and onsite reporters from Joe Schad and Mark Schlabach.

ESPNU will devote three hours of live coverage on Wednesday, June 20, with breaking news surrounding what BCS executive director Bill Hancock called a “seismic change” for college football. The special begins at 6 p.m. and will be hosted by Anish Shroff with analysts Mike Bellotti and Danny Kanell in studio and live updates from Rece Davis, Jesse Palmer, Schad and Schlabach in Chicago. ESPN’s leading experts of former coaches and college players will discuss the possible playoff formats impact on the landscape of college football. Both College Football Live specials will be highlighted with interviews from conference commissioners, coaches, players and Hancock shedding more details on the future of the BCS.
