College GameDay Covered by State Farm: First-Time Stop at NC State
ESPN’s College GameDay Covered by State Farm will continue its 2013 campus tour, visiting Raleigh, N.C., in advance of the Saturday Primetime Presented by DIRECTV telecast featuring North Carolina at No. 18 NC State on Saturday, Jan. 26, at 7 p.m. on ESPN. The first hour begins at 10 a.m. on ESPNU, continuing at 11 a.m. on ESPN, plus a one-hour edition at 6 p.m. on ESPN. GameDay, as well as the game, are available on ESPN 3D and WatchESPN.

NC State is hosting GameDay for the first time, while North Carolina is making its first of two appearances this season in a GameDay contest (also on March 9 when the Tar Heels face Duke at home).

GameDay will be celebrating the 25-year anniversary of the Jerome Lane backboard-shattering one-handed dunk, which took place on January 25, 1988. ESPN analyst Bill Raftery had the call of the game and famously pronounced “Send it in, Jerome!” – the play later made ESPN’s list of “100 Greatest Sports Highlights.” NC State coach and former ESPN men’s basketball analyst Mark Gottfried will join the GameDay crew and the show will feature a segment of “Know Your Teammate”, with two Wolfpack players squaring off.

Rece Davis will host College GameDay with analysts Jay Bilas, Digger Phelps and Jalen Rose to preview all the day’s action and discuss the biggest storylines in college basketball. College GameDay Schedule
