Men’s College Basketball: Saturday Schedule Features Eight Top-25 Teams, Two Top-25 Matchups

The Saturday, Jan. 21, men’s college basketball slate features two top-25 matchups plus the Saturday Primetime presented by AT&T tilt between Miami at No. 18 Duke (ESPN, 8:15 p.m.). Tabbed a Journey to the Tourney game, No. 12 Louisville will travel to No. 10 Florida State at 2 p.m., plus No. 24 South Carolina at No. 5 Kentucky at 6 p.m., both on ESPN. Also in action on Saturday is No. 6 Baylor, No. 7 West Virginia and No. 15 Notre Dame.

SEC Network presents one of the top games of the week, a top-25 matchup showcasing No. 19 Florida at No. 24 South Carolina on Wednesday, Jan. 18, at 7 p.m.

College GameDay Covered by State Farm
The 13th season of ESPN College GameDay opens from the Miami-Duke game on Saturday with the morning show starting at 11 a.m. on ESPN, followed by an evening edition leading into the game telecast at 8 p.m. College GameDay is hosted by Rece Davis, who is joined by analysts Jay Bilas, Seth Greenberg and Jay Williams. Bilas will join Dan Shulman and reporter Maria Taylor on the call of the game.

The Big Monday presented by EBay doubleheader showcases the ACC and Big 12 on ESPN through the remainder of the regular season. In addition, ESPNU presents a regular schedule of night games, primarily involving the Big 12, MEAC or SWAC. Highlights:

  • The ESPN doubleheader on January 23, showcases No. 18 Duke at home against NC State at 7 p.m., followed by Oklahoma at Texas
  • TCU faces Oklahoma State at 7 p.m., followed by Texas Southern at Mississippi Valley State, both on ESPNU

The Super Tuesday presented by CenturyLink highlights an ESPN Big Ten and SEC doubleheader, as well as a weekly ESPN2 prime-time matchup featuring the Big 12, plus the ACC and SEC on ESPNU with select Mountain West games. highlights:

  • A top-25 tilt between No. 2 Kansas at No. 7 West Virginia highlight’s the January 24, schedule starting at 7 p.m., followed by No. 5 Kentucky at Tennessee, both on ESPN
  • No. 21 Purdue travels to Michigan State at 7 p.m. on ESPN2
  • An ESPNU tripleheader beginning at 7 p.m. includes No. 12 Louisville at Pittsburgh, Kansas State at Iowa State and Utah State at New Mexico State

Additional schedule highlights:

  • An ESPN doubleheader on Thursday, Jan. 19, features No. 25 Maryland at Iowa at 7 p.m., followed by No. 12 Louisville hosting Clemson
  • ESPN2 and ESPN3 Surround will showcase California at No. 11 Oregon, also on Thursday, at 9 p.m.
  • The ESPNU ACC Sunday Night Basketball weekly game pits Virginia Tech at Clemson, at 7 p.m.
  • Ranked teams on this week’s schedule: No. 2 Kansas, No. 4 Gonzaga, No. 5 Kentucky, No. 6 Baylor, No. 7 West Virginia, No. 10 Florida State, No. 11 Oregon, No. 12 Louisville, No. 15 Notre Dame, No. 18 Duke, No. 19 Florida State, No. 21 Purdue, No. 24 South Carolina and No. 25 Maryland
