ESPN Sunday Night Baseball: National League East-Leading Washington Nationals to Host New York Mets on August 27

ESPN today announced it has selected its exclusive, full-national Sunday Night Baseball presented by Taco Bell telecast for August 27: the National League East-leading Washington Nationals and Bryce Harper will host the New York Mets and Yoenis Céspedes at Nationals Park at 8 p.m. ET on ESPN.

The telecast will be called by Dan Shulman with analysts Jessica Mendoza and Eduardo Pérez and reporter Buster Olney. Baseball Tonight: Sunday Night Countdown presented by Chevrolet will precede the game at 7 p.m. on ESPN with Adnan Virk and Tim Kurkjian.

On deck: The American League East-leading Boston Red Sox and Mookie Betts visit the second place New York Yankees and Aaron Judge on the August 13 edition of ESPN’s Sunday Night Baseball. Shulman, Mendoza and Aaron Boone will be in the booth with Olney reporting at 8 p.m. on ESPN.
