World of X Games December 2017 Lineup

The December programming on World of X Games looks back at some of 2017’s best winter content to get excited about the upcoming winter season, before taking fans to another World Surf League stop and closing out the year with a look back at the top 10 moments from X Games in 2017. With re-airs of two of the 2017 Real Series and an all-women stop at the Maui Women’s Pro, the December World of X Games lineup gives fans an inside look into a the world of some of action sport’s biggest stars.

Best of Aspen 2017 (Re-Air)
Airs:   12/2 at 4 p.m. ET & PT on ABC
The Best of Aspen show provides fans a look back at all the action sports competitions and musical performances at X Games Aspen 2017.

Real Ski 2017 (Re-Air)
Airs:   12/9 at 2 p.m. ET / 1 p.m. PT on ABC
Kicking off the Real Series video-only competition for 2017, Real Ski features six of the world’s best skiers premiering 90-second video parts. The six Real Ski athletes invited to compete were Magnus Graner, Khai Krepala, Henrik Harlaut, Tom Wallisch, Will Wesson and LJ Strenio. Each athlete had the opportunity to team with an editor on the production of a video part that presents that rider in their own unique style.

Real Snow 2017 (Re-Air)
Airs:  12/17 at 3 p.m. ET / 2 p.m. PT on ABC
The second of the Real Series video-only competitions for 2017, this rendition highlights the world’s best urban snowboard athletes battling for X Games Real Snow gold. The six athletes invite to compete were Justin Fronius, Anto Chamberlain, Frank Bourgeois, Toni Kerkela, Dylan Thompson and Jesse Paul. Each athlete had the opportunity to team with an editor on the production of a video part that will present that rider in their own unique style.

WSL Surfing Maui Women’s Pro
Airs:   12/23 at 1 p.m. ET / 12 p.m. PT on ABC
The race for the 2017 women’s World Title is one of the closest in history, with five of the sport’s biggest names still very much in the mix heading into the final event of the season, the Maui Women’s Pro. Jeep Leader Sally Fitzgibbons is clinging to a razor-thin lead over Tyler Wright, with Courtney Conlogue right on their heels. Both Stephanie Gilmore and Carissa Moore will be playing the long odds, but will be ready to step up should the frontrunners stumble.

X Games 2017 Top Moments
Airs:   12/31 at 2 p.m. ET / 1 p.m. PT on ABC
Between introducing a new discipline of Snow BikeCross, crowning a new youngest X Games gold medalist of all time with Brighton Zeuner, Levi Sherwood throwing three double backflips in one freestyle and the legendary Bob Burnquist retiring at X Games Minneapolis, 2017 was an epic year for X Games. The X Games 2017 Top Moments show looks back at the most exciting feats from Aspen, Norway and Minneapolis.

Peace Park 6 (Re-Air)
Airs:   12/31 at 2:30 p.m. ET / 1:30 p.m. PT on ABC
Peace Park creator Danny Davis gives fans an inside look at the making of the sixth edition of Peace Park. Each year, Davis hosts a group of the world’s most creative snowboarders shredding the most unique features of the season at Grand Targhee resort. This year’s riders include Red Gerard, Scotty James, Brock Crouch, Gabe Ferguson and more. Peace Park offers riders an event that celebrates the soul of snowboarding by giving them an opportunity to ride a combination of features that don’t exist anywhere else without the pressure of a competitive environment.
