Texas Pro Day Special and Annual Orange-White Spring Game to Air on Longhorn Network

Longhorn Network will air exclusive coverage of UT’s 2018 Pro Day as part of the Texas Pro Day Special on Wednesday, March 28 at 9 p.m. ET. LHN will be on site at the indoor practice facility as draft-eligible former Longhorns football players perform a variety of workouts for visiting NFL scouts. Lifetime Longhorn Ahmad Brooks and anchor Lowell Galindo will call the action for LHN’s Pro Day coverage.

Notable participants include P Michael Dickson, S DeShon Elliott, CB Holton Hill, LB Malik Jefferson, RB Chris Warren III and OL Connor Williams, who were also invited to participate in the 2018 NFL Scouting Combine, Feb. 27 – March 5. Pro Day events typically include weight room weigh-ins, bench press, vertical jump, broad jump as well as the 40-yard dash, 60-yard shuttle and position workouts for players entering the NFL Draft.

In addition, Longhorns fans will also get an exclusive first look at the 2018 Texas football team during the annual Orange-White Spring Game on Saturday, April 21. Action inside DKR starts at 6:30 p.m. with Texas GameDay, which takes you to kickoff at 7:30 p.m. Catch full highlights and analysis on Texas GameDay Final, airing for an hour following the conclusion of the game. This all follows a full day of action on the Forty Acres with Texas Softball (Oklahoma State, 1 p.m.) and Texas Baseball (New Orleans, 3:30 p.m.) preceding the spring game. All of Saturday’s action in Austin can be viewed on Longhorn Network.

ESPN will have additional Pro Day coverage from around the country on various shows, including SportsCenter and NFL Live, with details announced at a later date.
